What we love:

• Plants the seed to visit Iceland in a fun and quirky way
• Addresses the pain of having to set up your out of office reply
• Cute horses ... obviously
• Beautiful images entice folks to visit Iceland

What we’d improve:

• Add a CTA for folks to start planning their trip
• Swap out the blog articles under "Things to do in Iceland" with the first three options under "Plan Your Trip" in the main nav bar (How to Get There, Accommodation, Things to Do) - if folks made it this far down the page make it easy for them to do research without leaving the site.

There’s no secret landing page template that every company can use to 10x conversions. There’s no “secret, high-converting word” that will double your revenue. There’s no magic button colour, no call to action hack, no hero image mystery.

Here’s what you really need to know, great landing pages do three things:

1. Build trust with the visitor (i.e. Ms. Potential Customer).
2. Tell compelling stories that visitors enjoy reading.
3. Persuade visitors to take the most valuable action (i.e. convert, i.e. cha-ching 🤑).

Simple, right? Sure, but not easy.

To plan your unique landing page strategy for your unique audience based on those three requirements above, ask yourself the following:

1. What is the #1 benefit your product or service will deliver to your potential customer?
2. How would you pitch your product or service to your 8-year-old cousin?
3. How will you demonstrate trust and credibility?

There’s no secret, no mystery.

Great landing pages are simply landing pages that match the call to action to visitor awareness and intent levels.
